ALLOW ME, MADAM

"Allow Me, Madam" describes the continuous struggle of women in society.  The piece represents the relatable balance of a woman's choice to present oneself as the world perceives her to be or as she truly is.  The movement used in this piece blends together both powerful and beautiful phrases to create a seamless feeling.

"Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken" features a trio of women who have been beaten down by people in their life and yet, they band together to find the beauty and strength that still remains in life.  It is a piece that breathes life into those who feel like giving up or shutting down.  We are with you.

"The Journey, Not The Destination" is a collaboration between choreographer and composer to create an uplifting piece designed to bring a smile upon one's face.  It evokes a sense of clarity and optimism about the past, present, and future as the soloist recalls the journey taken.

YOU THREW OFF

MY GROOVE

"You Threw Off My Groove" is a comedic duet celebrating the true degree of friendship.  The movement is a mix between contemporary and pedestrian phrases as the performers move through the characteristics of what makes a close friend.   The teasing nature of the piece allows the audience to laugh along with its dancers.

A PLAYGROUND INITIATIVE

"A Playground Initiative" is a solo work about a daydreamer, living a storybook-esque world.  The playful quality of movement allows for the soloist to dive into the characteristics of a child trapped in an adult body.  Described as "a child's playground dance" by Pam Tanowitz, the tribute to all daydreamers out there is here.
